Uncover the rich cultural and historical legacy of the Khmer Empire. This comprehensive journey of discovery will take you to some of Cambodia's more remote and dramatic areas including Rattanakiri and Stung Treng. Along the way we encounter lush scenery and a wealth of archaeological sites culminating with the Angkor complex.

Day 1 : Phnom Penh (L,D)
Visit Phnom Penh's main attractions including the National Museum, the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda.

Day 2 : Phnom Penh (B,L,D)
Today there is a full day of sightseeing in the nation's capital including Wat Phnom and the Russian Market as well as the Tuol Sleng Museum and the poignant Killing Fields.

Day 3 : Phnom Penh - Banlung (B,L,D)
Transfer to Banlung, capital of Ratanakiri Province. Later we have the chance to swim in Boeng Yeak Lom lake, before heading for Cha Ong Waterfall. At the end of the day we walk up Eisey Pak Ta Mak Mountain to admire the sunset .

Day 4 : Banlung (B,L)
We drive out to Ven Sai village to meet some ethnic minority groups. Afterwards we visit Ka Chanh Waterfall.

Day 5 : Banlung – Stung Treng  (B,L,D)
Today we head for Stung Treng and take a boat ride out to Thala Bariwatt historical site.

Day 6 : Stung Treng – Kratie  (B,L,D)
This morning we take the boat to Kratie to observe the fresh water dolphins in the Mekong River.

Day 7 : Kratie – Kompong Cham  (B,L,D)
En route to Kompong Cham we stop at a rubber plantation and the historical hill temples of Phnom Srei and Phnom Pros.

Day 8 : Kompong Cham – Kompong Thom - Siem Reap  (B,L,D)
Before arriving in Siem Reap we discover Sambor Prei Kuk Temple Group,an important cultural and historical site. 

Day 9 : Siem Reap (B,L)
Today we explore Angkor Complex. Beginning with Angkor Thom. In the afternoon we enter Angkor Wat Temple and witness sunset from Phnom Bakheng.

Day 10 : Siem Reap - Angkor(B,L)
Continue to explore the Angkor Complex with Banteay Srei, Ta Prohm and Banteay Kdei temples. Later we take in the “big circuit” containing Preah Kanh, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon and Pre Rup temples.

Day 11 : Siem Reap - Angkor (B,L)
Today we head for Tonle Sap Lake and visit a floating village as well as Artisans D'Angkor, a local carving school. We finish our comprehensive stay at Angkor with the Roluos Temple Group.

Day 12 : Siem Reap (B)
A free day until the transfer to the airport.
