A journey of discovery starting with a
cruise along the River of Kings. Visit the
Summer Palace and then the ancient capitals
of the former Kings of Thailand.
PROGRAM:
Day 1 MEKHALA CRUISE (D)
14:00 Pick up from your hotel and transfer
to Mekhala to commence your cruise up the
Chao Phraya River passing the magnificent
Grand Palace and Temple of Dawn. At sunset
stop at the temple of Wat Kai Tia. A
candlelit dinner will be served on deck.
Overnight on board of Mekhala.
Day 2 MEKHALA – AYUTHAYA – NAKORN SAWAN
(B/L)
Breakfast on board and continue by boat to
Bang-Pa-In where you disembark to look
around the Summer Palace. Continue by
long-tail boat to Ayuthaya. After lunch,
visit the ruins of this once glorious
capital before continuing towards Uthai
Thani via Angthong by road, passing paddy
fields and villages. On the way visit
Reclining Buddha Image at Wat Khun Indra
Pramol. Overnight at The Country Lake Nature
Lodge .
Day 3 NAKORN SAWAN – KAMPHAENG PHET -
SUKHOTHAI (B/L)
After breakfast, transfer to Kamphaeng Phet
where known as “Diamond Wall” and look
around the ruins of this ancient city
founded in a shaded teak wood forest. Drive
to Sukhothai for having lunch. After lunch,
visit to the World Cultural Heritage Sites
of Sukhothai Historical Park and its
compound. Also visit to Sangkhalok Museum, a
private collections of The Ananda Gallery
before check-in. Overnight at The Ananda
Gallery Hotel
Day 4 SUKHOTHAI – SRI SATCHANALAI – LAMPANG
- CHIANG MAI (B/L)
After breakfast, depart Sukhothai for Sri
Satchanalai, a viceroy city of Sukhothai in
the past to visit another World Cultural
Heritage Sites; Sri Satchanalai Historical
Park. Depart Sri Satchanalai via Koh Kah for
Lampang. Upon arrival in Lampang, lunch will
be served at a local restaurant there. After
lunch, enjoy a leisurely Horse Carriage ride
and visit Wat Phra Kaeo Don Tao, one of
Thailand’s best examples of Burmese–style
temples. Continue to Lamphun to visit Wat
Phrathat Hariphunchai. In late afternoon,
arrive at Chiang Mai and transfer to your
hotel. End of service
